Well… as you can see we haven’t updated this blog in a long time!  We are approximately 3 weeks away from welcoming our second child into this world and wanted to get this running again. The baby will be named Dylan Reid Gottlieb.

Drew turned 3 this summer and is going to be a great big brother!  We have been talking about this event a lot and he seems to be very excited about Dylan’s arrival.  He looks forward to tickling his tummy. 

Last week was our first weekly visit… I was not dilated at all and 50% effaced. We went back to the doc today and have progressed to 1 cm dilated and still 50% effaced. We are very glad to see progression at this point!!  As you can tell from previous posts, I did not progress very much with Drew and was induced days after his due date. 

I have been feeling pretty good but am feeling some discomfort. This past weekend was my first true feeling of having a contraction during this pregnancy… boy did that bring back memories of my pregnancy with Drew! I have also been experiencing swelling now, especially around my ankles.    No sickness at all…the only true nuisance has been my lower back pain.  My pregnancy overall has been great and I am so thankful for that.  More to come…
