Almost There
We are now down to almost 4 weeks until Drew gets here!!! Lindsey is now almost 36 weeks pregnant and we’re doing everything we can to get done what needs done before the time comes. Her stomach is in a different shape every day which is really weird and he is kicking her to death in the ribs. We are about 90% sure he is head down. We have a doctor appointment tomorrow just to check on things and then we start going every week. Next week starts the weekly visits so next week things will become very clear as to knowing how/when he will get here. We’ve had 2 baby showers so far and his room is literally full of toys, rockers, clothes, diapers, bottles, passy’s, blankets etc. This weekend we plan on getting all other loose ends tied up such as the hospital bag, one last trip to Babies r Us, getting all of his clothes washed and making sure that everything is in order at the house so that when we do make the trip to the hospital, we can come home and be ready to rock.
Lindsey is handling this pregnancy like a trooper. I have never known anyone as tough as she is. She has been really uncomfortable lately but with the incredible way she handles it you would really never know.
Anyway, things are going great. We are really excited because in about 4 weeks or so we will be parents. Freaks me out but the thought is just awesome. Keep coming back because I’ll post updates after going to the doctor to kinda let you know where we stand.
