I finished painting Drew’s room yesterday. We ended up painting it a really pretty blue that will work perfectly with the crib bedding we picked out. We are having a lady that we know that does mural paintings and is going to come paint clouds and planes on the wall. With the color we picked, it is going to look awesome.

Painting was kind of a pain. It would have been MUCH worse if we didn’t invest $79 in the greatest invention ever; the Wagner Power Roller Quicktouch. No dipping no mess. All I had to do was push a little button and it fed paint right to the roller. Not only did it help me get done in less than half the time it would have taken me to do it without it, it saved us about $60 on paint. It uses paint so efficiently it only took 1 1/4 cans of paint to paint the entire room. That’s 2 coats of paint plus all of the trim. If I wouldn’t have had this unique contraption it would have taken probably 3 cans of paint.

Our paint lady is coming February 4 to paint the clouds and planes. I’ll have pictures up by then.
